Cosmic Sounds is een gezamenlijk conceptalbum, gebaseerd op de tekens van de dierenriem en oorspronkelijk uitgebracht in 1967. Mort Garson werd gevraagd om de psychedelische rockmuziek te componeren en op te nemen samen met producer en mede-oprichter van The Limeliters Alex Hassilev. Er werden verschillende sessiemuzikanten ingeschakeld om bij te dragen aan de opnames, waaronder met name Moog-synthgoeroe Paul Beaver en verteller Cyrus Faryar.
