Het album is een unieke mix tussen rock ‘n’ roll, soul en heavy metal en werd voorafgegaan door de single ‘Whiskey In The Jar’. Daarnaast zijn ook tracks als ‘The Rocker’ en ‘Little Girl In Bloom’ te horen. De plaat is voor deze 4LP boxset aangevuld met een hoop bonusmateriaal, bestaande uit John Peel en Bob Harris sessies, onuitgebrachte demo’s, rarities en liveopnames en een hardcover boek met liner notes en niet eerder uitgebrachte foto’s.

Bovendien bevat deze 50th anniversary nieuw artwork van Jim Fitzpatrick, die meerdere iconische Thin Lizzy covers ontwierp.
