Het is uitgebracht als een SET van 4 CD’s en bevat de volledige soundtracksessies, opnieuw gemixt van de originele sessietapes met 3 nummers. Het 24 pagina’s tellende boekje bevat informatieve flashbacks van muzikanten en songwriters. sessiegegevens, memorabilia en mondiale kaartinformatie.

Het originele album stond 20 weken op nummer 1 in de TOP POP LP’s-hitlijst van Billboard. Genomineerd voor een Grammy Award in 1961, werd het het op een na meest succesvolle soundtrackalbum van de jaren 60, maar verloor het van West Side Story!
