Gaandeweg breidde zijn verzamelwoede zich uit naar kristalradio’s, spaarpotten en muziekdoosjes. About 10 years ago, Wim Meter began to collect novelty radios (those that do not look like radios). He started on a modest scale at first. Then his urge to collect broadened to include crystal radios, money banks and music boxes. Together with numerous small diversions, the main theme that binds his collection is ‘music, radio and TV’. Beautiful to look at and full of useful information. It is Wim Meter’s enthusiasm for this unique collection that has brought this book into being. It is a ‘must’ for every collector.
