Om de 50e verjaardag van deze historische gebeurtenissen te herdenken, wordt The U.S. Albums, een nieuwe Beatles-collectie van 13 cd’s, op 21 januari uitgebracht door Apple Corps Ltd./Capitol. De Amerikaanse albums van The Beatles verschilden op verschillende manieren van de albums van de band uit het Verenigd Koninkrijk, waaronder verschillende tracklists, songmixen, albumtitels en kunst. De albums worden gepresenteerd in mono en stereo, met uitzondering van The Beatles’ Story en Hey Jude, die alleen in stereo zijn. De 13 cd’s zijn verzameld in een box met getrouw nagemaakt origineel LP-illustratiemateriaal, inclusief de binnenhoezen van de albums, en gaan vergezeld van een boekje van 64 pagina’s met Beatles-foto’s en promotiemateriaal uit die tijd, evenals een nieuw essay van de Amerikaanse auteur en televisiemaker Bill Flanagan.
